1st they illustrate the newly elevated "divine" status of the GB 2.0 on page 29 of the April 15, 2013 Watchtower (where they deliberately exclude all of the "anointed" that are part of the FDS)

Then they remind everyone in the NEW Memorial Talk Outline 2.0 that only a few need apply for the Heavenly Hope...

If this doesn't drop the number or partakers, nothing will...

Armageddon will just have to wait...

    _______________

very true, its called control, over everyone including those that will be judged on feeding the sheep, disgusting.

I reckon they will see if this new memorial talk outline can drop the number of partakers (unlikely), before they stop counting the number of partakers all together (inevitable).

And when the Lord "arrives" he will take the annointed home. Didn't he arrive in 1914?

No, the Lord's arriving is not until he resurrects them to heavenly life. So many people get that wrong. He does not arrive to us on the

earth but to the ones to whom Paul was writing.

So if the Lord did not arrive in 1914, how did he appoint the FDS/GB in 1919? Wasn't the Master at home to appoint the slave before he left?

w04 3/1 p. 16 'The Faithful Slave' Passes the Test!

    WHEN DOES JESUS COME?

In Matthew chapters 24 and 25, Jesus is said to "come" in different senses. He does not need to move physically in order to "come." Rather, he "comes" in the sense of turning his attention to mankind or to his followers, often for judgment. Thus, in 1914 he "came" to begin his presence as enthroned King. (Matthew 16:28; 17:1; Acts 1:11) In 1918 he "came" as messenger of the covenant and began judging those claiming to serve Jehovah. (Malachi 3:1-3; 1 Peter 4:17) At Armageddon, he will "come" to execute judgment on Jehovah's enemies.-Revelation 19:11-16.

The coming (or, arriving) referred to a number of times at Matthew 24:29-44 and 25:31-46 is at "the great tribulation." (Revelation 7:14) On the other hand, the coming referred to a number of times at Matthew 24:45 to 25:30 has to do with his judging professed disciples from 1918 onward. It would not be reasonable to say, for example, that the rewarding of the faithful slave, the judgment of the foolish virgins, and the judgment of the sluggish slave, who hid the Master's talent, will take place when Jesus "comes" at the great tribulation. That would imply that many of the anointed will be found unfaithful at that time and will thus have to be replaced. However, Revelation 7:3 indicates that all of Christ's anointed slaves will have been permanently "sealed" by that time.

That's 4 times! 1914, 1918, the GT and the Big A. Notice how unreasonable it was to say the rewarding of the 'faithful slave' is future. Since the 2012 AGM it is now reasonable to say that.

    w04 3/15 p. 7 The Lord's Evening Meal-How Observed?

Anointed Christians would commemorate Christ's death "until he arrives." This observance would continue until Jesus' arrival to receive his anointed followers into heaven by a resurrection to spirit life during his "presence." (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17)

" In a sense.." is one of the WTBTS's favorite phrases. You can say whatever you want as long as you use that phrase. " In a sense the Elders are showing love to you by making you wait at least a year after your repenting, to re-instate you." They are spiritual physicians, in a sense...

This quote shows why they can't sort things out.

Revelation 7 says nothing about the 144,000 being the only anointed (or for that matter, says nothing of the subject of anointing). It would be far easier if they took off their self-agrandizing glasses. Mark's parallel account doesn't have the parables of the '10 virgins' and the 'three slaves given talents to work with' or the 'faithful and discreet slave.' Instead, Mark's Olivet Discourse account ends with the words, ". . .But what I say to YOU [the four disciples present for the discourse - Mk 13:3] I say to all, Keep on the watch.” (Mk 13:37)

Yes, I can see why the Memorial outline needed to be "revised significantly" from the 2012 version.

Those with either hope can become members of God’s family

Those with a heavenly hope are called Christ’s “brothers” (Heb 2:17)

Those with an earthly hope, his children (Isa 9:6)

God is the Father. Jesus is the Son. The anointed are God's adopted 'sons' and Christ's 'brothers.' OK.

The earthly class can also become members of God's family and become His children.

Logically, members of the earthly class who are God's children must, like the anointed, be siblings or 'brothers' of Christ.

No distinction. Uh oh. Can't have that. The sheeples might use it as green light to partake.

Because the bread and the wine represent Christ’s body and blood in a special sense:

Bread represents Jesus’ body given in behalf of anointed (w06 2/15 23, box; w85 2/15 12-13)

Wine represents Jesus’ blood as it applies to those in new covenant, the 144,000

Now, we all know that this is a teaching dating back to Russell - the 'mystery doctrine' - but it's been downplayed for decades. To come right out and say 'Jesus' sacrificial body was given for the anointed' kinda jars even for a party-liner!
