I love the sound of rain. I work nights and sleep days. When it rains, I can sleep for hours without waking once. I have to be sure to set the alarm or else I will sleep too long. The sound of rain is so soothing.

I love the sound of rain and have several CDs that I use to relax. I even love the smell and feel of rain both just before and after a hot summer rain

In this arid SoCal location, the sound of rain is welcome, as it is the sound of a parched land quenching its thirst.
The smell is a treat as well.
