From the book 'mans salvation' 1975, chapter 18. They did admit they might be touched somewhat when primarily all other religions are emergency taxed.

*** sl 339-40 18 On Whose Side Are We When World Distress Climaxes? ***
30 The Eighth World Power, being a globe-embracing political organization with 138 member nations today, will take action against whatever purports to be religious, spiritual, throughout the earth. Even Jehovah’s Christian witnesses cannot escape from being affected. True, the 138 members of the United Nations organization know that Jehovah’s Christian witnesses are no part of Christendom, no, no part of harlotrous Babylon the Great as a whole. They know that Jehovah’s witnesses have not messed themselves up with the dirty politics of this world and have not tried to ride the symbolic scarlet-colored “wild beast” having seven heads and ten horns. So, when getting Babylon the Great off its back and stripping and cremating her, this political “wild beast” will not aim at Jehovah’s witnesses directly when it settles accounts with the hated “mother of the harlots and of the disgusting things of the earth.” (Revelation 17:5) Nevertheless, it could hardly be otherwise than that, when the political powers represented in the United Nations of today take what they believe are needed measures against all religions, Jehovah’s witnesses will be touched to some extent. For example, by the emergency taxation of all religious property. Or, even the expropriation of all religious valuables and properties. Or the withdrawing of State charters to religious corporations, so as to accomplish their destruction.

Try again because of mistranslation of quotation marks.

    OLD HIPPIE:

No, the France taxation case does not having anything to do with 'religious' freedom, not does it affect other religions.

When these 'other religions' such as the Catholic church start harboring pedophiles anew, start expelling and enforcedly shunning rape and molestation survivors, and start ORDERING convicted child molesters to people's doors---they should be taxed as well.

Yep...Jehovah's Christian Witnesses, they be unique all right!!!!

    Harumph!!!

In 1975 a crack team of publishers was sentenced to death by a judicial commiteee. They promptly escaped from the cult and now live life on the run. If you have a problem ... and if you can find them ... maybe you can contact the A--postate Team"

Now this may be a coincidence but...

According to the March (or it could be February) Kingdom Ministry, the proposed expansion of the British Bethel (or should that be UK??!!) has been shelved.

Now is that because they are contemplating a huge tax bill from France?

    You tell me!

    Gary,

The Commission's report identified 173 groups as sects, including Jehovah's Witnesses and the Church of Scientology.

    Yes, this is highly amusing.

Satan, who apparently has world-wide dominance at this time, attacks Gods only true Organization on earth and decides to fudge the issue by attacking 172 of his own evil allies at the same time.

    Best regards - HS

What I find amusing is that the Watch Tower Society who pretends to be God's only true organizationhas made so many wrong decisions over its 125 years existence...
Gosh, if God is leading the old farts in Brooklyn, why so many errors, why the double standards, why the deathly doctrines, why pedophiles, why shunning, why the wrecking of so many families, why, why, why ?

I think it would have been easy for them to predict that governments would come after them for tax "evasion".

They know they have no charitable works and that all their money stays within their org. moving from one place to another with an ever ending supply. It was only a matter of time before the general public caught up with them.

Crime doesn't pay! Isn't that lesson in the bible?
