Why not skip the generalization and say that "some JW2" instead of blatantly claim that JWs as such live double lives..

Another refreshing article (marked). It's a tad 'unusual' that the JWs are so passionate about football. Tut tut.

LOL Midwich - "It's a tad 'unusual' that the JWs are so passionate about football."

Not in the North East! Newcastle fans are passionately devoted to football.

This is a huge stereotype but in the North East an Elduh's priorities are probably:

    Newcastle FC
    Beer
    Job
    Congregation
    Wife & Kids

The comments were quite interesting on this article. Some people mentioned the JW aspect but most were anti-football, anti-discrimination and anti-geordie.

e.g. 'What do you call someone that doesn't like football?' Ans - 'Intelligent'

or 'I didn't think Geordies could afford to go to football after drinking seven nights a week'

Does anyone know of any available research on closet Daily Mail readers and their behavioural habits?? Any links with Tourette's syndrome??

And to add to their congregations woes they have taken out a £30,000 loan with the Society for their refurb project!

I wonder if these two guys are STILL elders!

Edited - The elder listed on the Charity Commission site is Albert Jameson Laidlaw, maybe a relative of the Ian Laidlaw mentioned in the article? The other guy, Anthony (Tony) Kozlowski is listed as a trustee so must be an elder.
