I am beginning to believe the rumors that they are drawing a line in the sand. Either you are all in or you are all out. No more fence sitters

    Dear Brothers

Listed to US and obey our teachings implicitly! If you choose not to or if you dare challenge our authority.....you are DISHONORING God!

*Please also keep in mind that we are not infallible which means that current teachings may not be correct. Regardless it is your bounden duty to HONOR God by following these teachings anyway. If you happen to disagree with a teaching of ours and we later change our teaching so that it matches your point of view....please keep in mind YOU HAVE STILL DISHONORED GOD by being right too early.

    Your HUMBLE brothers,

    The Governing Body

Stealth said: "There is a very good reason why the WT does not want JWs to try and refute arguments of apostates.

    BECAUSE THEY CAN'T ! "

Matthew 7:6 has this to say:

"Do not give what is holy to dogs, neither throw your pearls before swine, that they may never trample them under their feet and turn around and rip you open."

Ok, you can call me a "Dog" but a Swine??? Now they've gone too far.

Such strong rhetoric will keep the sheeples in line, but it must be a barrier to entry for new interest. The seperation of families is what creates the problem for them, so to increase the pressure only increases the problem.

These repeated attacks by the WT are very good news . . . they're hurting alright.

"We are not benefited by trying to refute the arguments of apostates or those who are critical of Jehovah’s organization. In fact, it is spiritually dangerous and improper to peruse their information, whether it appears in written form or it is found on the Internet."

What this REALLY means is that there are individuals out there who ARE being benefitted by even TRYING to refute "apostate" arguments because, ultimately, they are seeing TTATT.

I anticipate such rhetoric will increase as 2014 approaches. . .

More damage control. Its what any organized religion does to keep membership and to try to stop the high retention rates. Its what any religious group does, no matter how big or small. And of course-the bible and god himself is backing them.

YES! Awesome! It sounds like a boxer who was hit really hard and he can't keep his balance or hit straight so he just goes on swiniging wildly and ineffectively.
