I have a technical q. My computer works at YouTube and Netflic (IE). You Tube videos play here but without audio. The volume control is set at high. B/c of problems with IE, I use Firefox for this site.

So true. Regarding the internet, I once heard an elder say,
"Never go on the internet and look up information about Jehovah's Witnesses, because all you will get is pure garbage."
By urging them to stay off the internet, Watchtower says it is protecting JWs. This is complete spin. Rather than protecting them it is controlling them by keeping information from them that is embarrassing to Watchtower.

My jw brother refuses to read or listen to anything at all about jws from any source other than the "slave". He says the media is controlled by the devil. He only reads the society's literature.
The wts uses information control to the extreme.
