Psh...they don't need donations now... Not with all their real estate holdings.
They certainly do not need VOLUNTARY donation anymore, what with all the money being funnelled into WTS via the Assembly Hall fees now being collected. And if there are not enough funds donated at the assembly, they just send a BILL to each congregation in the circuit with order to pay up! They are GUARANTEED a definite level of income from every assembly, plus every CO encourages the Cong Body of Elders to get a resolution passed that the Cong send in an additional donation every month above and beyond what is donated to the Society's WWW. Plus if your Cong is not sending in enough donations to cover your literature expenses (as tabulated by the CO), then the CO will let you know that you need to PAY UP or else!
