Because the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger, from Boozerford on, are all male chauvinist PIGS. Truth is, all human beings (women included) that are not grossly mentally retarded are capable of independent thinking (and, here "grossly mentally retarded" means not having the intellectual capacity to think on one's own, not being "mentally diseased" or having an arbitrary "disease" that needs prescription drugs to treat). Those with "gross mental retardation" in this case refer to those who are "trainable" and "custodial"--"educable" people are capable of independent thinking, but with extra effort.
What happens when a segment of people that are capable of thinking on their own are denied that is that they lose opportunities. They lose brain power, and that is showing up in shortages of people that are able to do the work. This happens with racism as well--when someone is discriminated against in any way for reasons not pertinent to capability to produce value, this value is lost. And it is showing up in stifling of ideas when the existing ones are not working.
These male chauvinist PIGS are preventing badly needed fresh ideas from being implemented in the organization. Women are not being permitted to give real talks, and thus their ideas are squashed. They are thus held captive to their male hounders--even those with good thinking abilities. They are the ones that pious-sneer most of the time. Also, they run households--yet their husbands, who often know nothing of what's going on or are only seeking to dominate at any cost, are the ones that make the decisions. As the husbands so often know less than the wives, both sides end up losing. No opportunity to catch up on that knowledge exists, and the husband cannot get better than the wives (or the wives better than the husbands) in areas where they are weak in.
I can only hope this results in more stagnation. They are going nowhere now, with the Internet destroying many a call before it becomes a study or studies before they can become publishers. The witlesses are getting discouraged, and their zeal for field circus is nowhere near what it was back in the mid and late 1980s. The more they suppress the women (who probably have ideas that could reduce the stagnation and get them out of being "in irons"), the more they are going to remain "in irons" as they try to "tack" to the next "new light". And I can only hope it results in more embarrassing flub-ups among congregation after congregation.
