They don't want people to think for themselves, so they bash good education. The nations do that to some degree, even dumbing down "education(??)" to prevent people from actually more than learning factoids that have little to do with starting their own business. Everything is done according to a script, designed to teach people what to think without teaching them how to think. This is to protect the big drug companies, which finance most of the governments and colleges and determine what is "accreditable" and what is not.
However, this is not why the witlesses bash college. The witlesses bash college because they want members to waste their time pious-sneering. You cannot pious-sneer properly if you are attending classes. Study, classes, and homework take away from boasting sessions and field circus time. The money you spend on classes is not available for the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund. You are often unsupervised for extended periods, and it is miserably difficult for the hounders to make sure you are complying with their rules. This is even worse if you are away from home--especially studying abroad.
And it isn't just college that the witlesses bash. They bash the University of Internet as strongly as regular college. They do not like it when people bring home too many worldly books, even if they have little to do with religion. You get a book like "Natural Cures"--which has nothing to do with religion but teaches people to think for themselves about the medical system. Whether or not they believe that is a scam, they soon see similar problems (and actually experience them) with their religion. Those who learn to think for themselves, even if they don't believe the books, will realize that the witless religion is at best a scam and at worst a malicious attempt to drag people into a kind of hell or stagnation trap, or other adverse judgment. About the only books they approve of not from their own sources are fluff books that do little or nothing to educate.
