Especially since in many Kingdom Halls I've visited in the past 2 yrs, including my own...there's a lot of elders doing the sound and carring mics.
I'm seeing this too, even where there are plenty of teens and MS. Could this be a suggestion as to how they can appear more humble (washing the feet)?
That pious act of carrying the mics. was used at a 60 plus publisher Cong.;
that was full of baptized and qualified brothers, that we once attended.
10 years ago, at a smaller Cong., it was because the elders were to nit picky.
All their mic. brothers quit handling them; today, their gone and Cong. is still shrinking.
*sigh* that means my son must be an elder by now.
