    Interesting responses. And I do agree that it is excessively elementary in its writing style. But...

    When I read it, I thought that Hem (the little guy that didn't want to believe the cheese was gone) was a lot like the GB. They keep doing the same things, using the same methods, going back to the same places, and are having less and less success. They just won't admit that the old ways are not working anymore and accept that web based resources and social media are the future. Just print more books and knock on more doors.

    As a career bureaucrat, I found the Cheese style to be breezy and refreshing. It has one message, and it delivers it well. I've never forgot the lesson. Sure beats the loads of stuffy reading out there.
