Thinking of people finding answers, in viewing the uprising in Egypt how long after Democracy starts to take place do people begin to lose their need for religion.

I think you don't want to understand.
God descibes himself in the Bible as having humanlike characteristics and feelings like love, justice, anger etc. You see his material creation. What do you want more? How much more of a humanlike manner do you want Him to use to explain himself to you?
Can you imagine youself living forever? I'm sure you do. In this case you would see yourself eternal, with no end to your life. Why is it difficult to understand that God is eternal and has no beginning?

Psalm 19:1-3: "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. 2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. 3 There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. 4 Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."

Mr. I Don't Know,
For answers to your questions, I invite you to visit us online at http://www.mormon.org to learn more about God, our Eternal Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ.
There are answers to your questions, you just have to know where to look for them at. You're invited to 'taste and see' that the Lord is good, and to have Him speak to your personally. I testify to you that if you do, that God will speak to you personally, and that you can come to not just know about Him, as many do, but to know Him personally and to not just believe that He lives, but to know it for yourself.
Your friendly neighbors,
The Mormons

Witnessofjesus,
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the "Heavenly Father" of whom Mormons speak an exalted man from the planet (or is it a star) Kolob?
"As man now is, God once was. As God now is, man may become" is still taught by Mormonism, is it not?
People on this forum might like to know this before accepting your testimony or your invitation.

Mormons do believe that... and also think that black people are lesser in importance then white people. Although, they did have 'new light' on that in the 1970's when they realized they could let more in, with their money.

I dont understand life either. I dont believe another human can help you unravel lifes questions. Something other than human needs to explain it to me. Ive been sick and tired of all the answers given by humans. Im reminded of a Robin Williams movie where he turned to the sky and yelled WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN? No matter how I cut it I keep coming back to the same thing...how i feel cuz its the only thing im sure of..and that is I feel like a lab rat. I hope im wrong and there is another plane of existence higher and better than this where we exist again.
I really believe with no facts that the universe never ever ends it goes on forever and you cant hit a wall where it stops. Someone somewhere out there more intelligent than us is there. No one out there needs to care about us but it sure would be nice to get a visit now and then.
I have to marvel at all the you tube videos about unexplained aircraft and lights. No matter how much other worldiness is caputured theres never anyone that lands and says Hi i was in the neighborhood and wanted to say hi to your world. Sure would be nice though.
If i get to be 75 yrs old I hope some answers have been provided by then. ..but not holding my breath. The thing i hate is that mankind has made life mean creating and paying your debts, mortage, and scraping out a living just so you can eat and provide for a family..when it should mean more, a lot more. I would love to see a benign supernatural event for the betterment of man but not holding my breath.
