So I wonder if it is true that if they say you need one blood transfusion you probably don't really need it?
Isn't that what the witnesses claimed?
Because I read that HIV CANNOT always be detected in the standard HIV test because of some with "elite controllers" I would be leary of taking a transfusion. I was pretty low on blood and was given IV's in both hands. They didn't even ask me if I would take blood. But i was extrememly weak for a month after. I was still a JW then but would have taken blood if need be. But it would have had to be pretty serious for me to allow it.
I need to say my abstaining from blood transfusions if at all possible has nothing to do with the bible..merely a health concern and would only do it as a last hope.
I do realize it can save lives!
