mad dawg, yorkshire puddings are definately made of yorkshire terriers, and shepherds pies are made of shepherds

Mad Dawg - That looks like Spotted Dick so WHERE IS THE CUSTARD?

Yorkshire Puddings, whether a single large one or individual ones are awesome. Need to be cooked in a bit of Beef Dripping, really hot, and a bit of black pepper. Do not open the oven whilst they are cooking or they go flat. Need to be just catching (burning) on the top edge and not soggy in the bottom. Perfect with a traditional English Sunday lunch.

Wednesday today so must go and have my liver and onions.

My mom used to make popovers.

Anthony's Pier 4 in Boston is famous for them http://www.pier4.com/history/history.cfm It's a Boston landmark. They are served with every meal. I go there once a year with my company after a trade show we do next door at the world trade center in Boston. The food used to be better...has gone downhill, but the last time we went it was getting much better.

I don't think I've ever had yorkshire pudding...
