At Romans 6:1-14, we read in part, but especially at 6:7, " For he who has died has been freed from sin. ... We have died with respect to the wrath that sin incurs, having had our sins forgiven".

Now stop and think. If people who are died before Armageddon have all their sins forgiven, will it be a matter of justice for the God of Love to destroy a sizeable number of people who have not been fortunate enough to die before the Big A? In otherwords, its it a crime to be found living during the the time it happen? What do you think?

You are trying to use logic to understand jw doctrine. It doesn't work.

The entirety of Dub dogma is full of logical holes like this. How about the mostly-ignored doctrine that after Armageddon there will be 1000 years of crappy post-apocalyptic rebuilding only to result in another nameless Armageddon-like event?

No offense to the mentally challenged but it's freaking retarded.

Can you be justified by your own death?

Actions are justified or not justified, not individuals.

Why Watchtower Teaching On Armageddon is a Myth ?

Because it's an unreality , it's not going to happen, ever. WT society uses the closeness of " Armageddon " and the " last days " as a fear tactic to induce guilt and fear into Jehovah's Witness members. Since Russell's time late 1870's - the WT society has been marketing fear into it's members for 130 + years now - and they continue to do so by such new theories as the " overlapping generation " doctrine- just a ploy to perpetuate the lie of an impending doom like " Armageddon " to keep members under control. ALL mind control cults do this to members. WT society is no different

That's why it is so important for the public to be educated about the dangers of mind control cults of all stripes. People are pathetically uninformed and it puts them at risk.

    Mad Sweeney,

"Actions are justified or not justified, not individuals."

Is that how Paul understood justification?

Obviously to the Watchtower, the incessant commercialization of the Big A has been an outstanding marketing success. Mr. Flipper, thank you for adding the historical time when this all started. Mad Sweeney, now I see how mind control goes hand in hand with the Big A. Its as if the two are mutually exclusive

This particular doctrine of the WT based on Romans 6 has been shown quite recently by our very esteemed Leolaia to be in error.

A reading of the whole section shows that Paul was not saying that justification occurs at death, or even a wiping clean of sins committed.

As Paul makes plain elsewhere, justification is only available from the death of Christ for belioevers in Him, and is a free gift from God, but not something that just happens.
