Hell exists as far as you make it out to and believe it does. It exists for you.

Hell does exist. But for those of you who don't belive, you best hope you're right! just sayin'....

It's funny how those that don't belive in Hell, still sound like a good JW!

Or like millions of people who aren't religious

But I guess it's like you see what you choose to,....

Faith, by definition, is not based on "proof" (because then it would not be "faith" would it?) but it is based on evidences.

Which is better, in your view, Knowledge or Ignorance?

Knowledge is based on evidence and proof.

Enough knowledge of practical matters can lead to proficiency at life.

Ignorance is based on what you can't know, don't know or won't know. Enough ignorance can lead you to confuse knowledge with Faith.

In the same way, Faith is a blinking red light that says: "Don't know--but I hope..."

Why should Faith be something to cherish? It is next door neighbor to pig-ignorance.

    Just a thinking aloud

It seems to me everything in nature has a balance or a counter-balance. Everything seems to have an exact opposite or something that in some manner either controls or contains the other.

Heaven doesn't make much sense without it's opposite.

So either Heaven exist without limit or it has a counter balance. That balance would be the exact Biblical and physical opposite of how heaven is believed to be.

If you can believe there is no heaven then you should have no problem with non-belief in it's opposite also not existing.

How about this; Those the prefer the belief of no Heaven are a counter balance to those that do.

Is God's counter balance Satan ? or Is God's counter balance something we are not aware of ?

Since unbelievers hate the holy God, they would find eternity with Him intolerable. Although they will find Hell terrible, it will be more acceptable to them than spending eternity with a God whom they hate. So, is giving unbelievers a more tolerable existence really unfair, or, is it merciful?

That's a bit of a leap but an understandable one, coming from a believer.

God paints a rather black and white picture in that either you're for HIM or against HIM; there really isn't a middle ground with this guy. So it follows that if you don't love him, you must hate him and thus you would hate eternity with him. Thus eternity in hell is preferable for the unbeliever and is really a merciful act on His part. Nice,...

But yes, hell does exist. It's called being a JW teenager,....;)

I can just see those ancient people watching a volcano spew hot molten lava out from deep under the Earth thinking to themselves:

"Hmmmmm, it must be really hot down there for a reason."

Then, they spliced their religious belief concerning Divine Retribution right on to that observation and VOILA! The doctrine of HELLFIRE!
