At work our radio is on the blink and all we can get is a local country music station. I am so sick of hearing "Rockin' the Beer Gut" and "I got gas in my truck and butter on my biscuit... I'm about ready to puke..

Truthfully, Quirky, about 95% of the current music on ANY of the billboard charts is unbearable, IMHO.
Here locally, only the weekend (mostly older) DJ's play anything decent.
Satellite radio and MP3 players have saved us.

I like real country music, not that pop-country crap they play on the radio. Old Timey, Bluegrass, Folk, Old Country.

It is my contention that new music in EVERY genre is mostly crap.
Go here and look at the CURRENT 'Rock' chart. Isn't it mostly crap?

I mostly listen to a local station that plays 60's and 70's stuff. Lots of 'Soul' music and Classic Rock and Roll.
