If she or he were ever baptized Jehovah's Witnesses, wouldn't there be a record in some Kingdom Hall somewhere--perhaps Leavenworth, Kansas or Antioch, California?

This is what happens when one devalues the present life. If this was going on early and long enough, it matters not whether baptism was achieved. All that matters is the continual "So what about this life" and "All that matters is the New Order" programming that happens. They have gone to enough boasting sessions to hear about how this life matters not, and things will improve only after Armageddon--and that the important thing is to make it there. Let this go on enough, and throw in a little emotional instability, and crap like this is very plausible.
