One night I was exhausted but could not sleep.
I pulled up one of Coco's paintings here.
I tried to memorize it.
Then, I laid down to rest and instead of counting sheep, I thought of the painting and the cool misty air blowing on my face.
I looked out into his painting (in my mind's eye) as far as it would go, past the steam and the meadow beyond and began to take a walk through it.
I fell into a contented sleep.
His posts are often real pick-me-ups.

Thanks again, Hamsterbait, for your kindness in putting up this thread. But, as the saying goes, the masses stayed away in droves. Would this moment of truth be an indicator that I truly cannot make it as a writer, musician and artist? Fifty years trying, and trying and....
