I'll do a deal with you.

I'll swap you the talks for a list of Babylonian kings from Nebuchadnezzar to Nabonidus, showing the dates and lengths of their reigns. You must quote all sources you use, so that I can verify it.

I can't provide talks from the exact assembly you wanted, but they all use the same talk outlines and they may even be the same speakers for some of the talks.

    Cheers

    Chris

I was mistaken. The 14 talks I have are from the Tucson Convention.

I don't know if this is right. I used Wikipedia. It's probably on the watchtower library and a Witness would probably use that...however Wikipedia works too.......unless some idiot went and edited it wrong. Either way, if this is wrong then I failed........ badly -.-

    NEBUCHADNEZZAR

(Neb?u?chad?nez′zar), Nebuchadrezzar (Neb?u?chad?rez′zar) [from Akkadian, meaning “O Nebo, Protect the Heir!”].

Second ruler of the Neo-Babylonian Empire; son of Nabopolassar and father of Awil-Marduk (Evil-merodach), who succeeded him to the throne. Nebuchadnezzar ruled as king for 43 years (624-582 B.C.E.), this period including the “seven times” during which he ate vegetation like a bull. (Da 4:31-33) To distinguish this monarch from the Babylonian ruler by the same name but of a much earlier period (the Isin dynasty), historians refer to him as Nebuchadnezzar II.

Your quote from Wiki; "Nabu-kudurri-usur (Nebuchadrezzar II) 605 – 562 BC" Who is correct? You and Wiki, or the Watchtower? There is a substantial difference. The date of the start of Nebuchadrezzar's reign is used to calculate 1914 by the Watchtower. If they are wrong, everything they base on it is faulty. Notice that if you calculate the fall of Jerusalem as occuring in the 18th year of Nebuchadrezzar's reign you arrive at 605-18=587 BC, not 607 BC If (624-582 B.C.E.) is wrong, you would be using the talks to teach your friends lies, so it is important to know who is correct? You and Wiki, or the Watchtower? Cheers Chris

It worked. A lot of background noise o.o. Uh which talk is that? I don't want to hinder you, but is there anyway you can lable them on filename? If not, nevermind. Just getting them is great.

Are you really considering giving them to someone when you know that their doctrines are based on a false date for the beginning of Neb's reign?

How does that make you feel?

...God forgive me for saying this. But if it's wrong and it doesn't come, then okay. But isn't it better to be safe then sorry? To belive incase it DOES come? I care about these two more then anyone in this cold world, and can't even imagine losing them. They don't believe right now, but they gave me a chance to make them believe, and the things I heard at the convention I know will make them believe because I know them, the kind of people they are. I just don't have that great of memory to give what was said. Thus recordings.
