Thanks for the comments. I heard this as well as the companion suites in succession on NPR Saturday evening.

#5 is voice and eight cellos, another is bassoon and flute ... there are nine BBs in all. They were initially unpopular with the public though critically acclaimed. Later on they became so popular that other compositions of Heitor Villa-Lobos were ignored, much to the composer's chagrin.

The pieces, as the eponymous titles suggest, are a Brazilian tribute to J.S. Bach.
