Thanks guys...merry christmas to you all.

This Christmas is going to be so different. On the one hand i feel as though i am missing out as everyone is drinking, on the other hand i will have a good time doing other things. I have bought my boys tickets to a big football (soccer to you American types) game, involving our home town team and another local rival team, i am so looking forward to that with my boys.

This Christmas is going to be different, that's the best way to describe it.

    Congradulations.

I went to AA for 7 years when I was about your age.

It took me 2 years to have my last drink and then 5 years of no drink and sobriety.

It was a wonderful time that I describe as nirvana, Utopia, paradise on earth.

Then I let the good things AA gave me take me back out.

It works if you work it. Keep going back.
