And what about the many pedophiles within the ranks of the witlesses? They know about the problem, and yet they methodically silence the victims and protect the perpetrators. They have policies that prevent people from being warned about the problem, so they could have made better decisions.
That is more serious than the isolated crimes that make the news. For every murder committed by a witless, there could easily be a dozen or more pedophile incidents committed that never get past the victim. And by design, it is extremely difficult for those stories to make the mainstream.
