Last night my husband told me that there's an old lady in his congregation who thinks I'm "cute" and offered to talk to me since she also had a UBM and is concerned about our marriage.
I wanted to gag. What do you think? Should I talk to this nosy old bitty? (no offense to our older JWD members)

Me too. Although, I think this is one that deserves a limerick. I will start it:

Of course I'm going to tell hubby to tell her "no", but I have to admit, my curiosity almost got the better of me. I talked to his hard-core JW mom once for about 2 hours and hubby was deflated when I said that she was not able to convince me to "turn". It was interesting to listen to the pat responses of someone who's been in for 30 years who's son is an elder (NOT hubby, of course).
