I get different dates from those the book calculates
A lunar year is 360 days in length. Using a perpetual calendar, I counted backward from June 21, 1918 the number of days corresponding to 3 lunar years (1080 days) and obtained the date July 7/8, 1915, not June 23, 1915!!!
VM44 - that is what is so crazy about the Watchtower interpretation of these Daniel prophecies of the 1260, 1290, 1355 and 2300 days. None of the interpretations add up to the correct number of days, regardless of the calendar used. For 35 years I just accepted the Watchtower figures and was shocked when I first did the calculations. I doubt many JWs ever bother to work it out.
