    The poem sucks! I married a "Witness" and my life as been a living hell. As both of my children can testify to. They are the only good thing that came from this so called good "Witness" man.

    Flashes of Light

    I was moved to write this little poem, about something I was told

    My religion said they got flashes of light clear back to days of old

    They claimed they got these flashes; They said it was "New light"

    They claimed it came direct from God, to those with great insight

    It became impossible, to live under their flashing light

    Of all those silly "flashes," not one of them was right

    Flashing lights are usually bad; It can't be any clearer

    Like that red flashing light, seen in your rear-view mirror

    Lightening is a bright flash of light

    Bringing with it terror and fright

    What about Hiroshima? Nagasaki was a big flash of light

    The devastation of those two occasions left a terrible sight

    All their claims of flashes of light, one thing stands out real stark

    If you're only getting flashes of light, you're living in the dark!

    Crapola, I'm sorry to hear that, unfortunatly it is all too common within the dubs. I had several years of hell on earth with a "good" witness man and am finally free and happier than I have been in years, maybe ever.

    I like the way you think Billy. I hate the blanket statements that all non believers are bad. I married a brother ( thankfully we were a perfect match). They didn't want me to marry him. Which is funny because we were both in the truth. we didn't have very many disagreements now that we are both out in the real world instead of the jw fantasy world, we have zero disagreements and I couldn't be happier.

    The coward didn't have the guts to identify herself. Actually, it was probably written by one of the governing body so they could manipulate more sheep.
