I still remember this experience a few years ago at the assembly that made me MAD.. the CO gave a talk about this brother who fixed another brother's computer and "accidently" stumbled across the fact that he was looking at porn. And of course he dobbed and got the guy into big trouble over it. It seemed to me to be a big ooooh-don't-look-at-porn-or-you'll-get-caught fear campaign and straight away I thought how ridiculous it was that he "stumbled" across it. To me going through internet history is like rifling through drawers. I was disgusted that not only had this guy forwarded that information but now it was being transmitted into our circuit assembly. Ridiculous. How many witnesses would have looked at porn in their lifetime? Get over it.

I used to go to strip bars with a ministerial servant. I never told the elders that he got on stage and danced with a stripper.

I was shocked he didn't get his ass tossed out of the bar. Maybe that was because he was a regular customer.

I am currently covering up for a brother, that openly tells me that he looks for sex on the internet. He tells me he only has anal sex (with women), because having regular sex, bothers him.....what? He also love giving and receiving oral, going to brothels, and strip joints. Mind you he is a ex-bethelite pioneer, and still attends meetings/assemblies....though i think that will change. I dont see him much, he lives in L.A. (what do they put in the water over there, he was not like that in NY?) I would love to be his wing man if i hung out with him, im too much of a boy scout to do any of that on my own.

We are life long friends and he knows im inactive, so i guess he feels its ok to tell me, i honestly will never turn him in though.....its funny how things change.. i never would have thunk it.

As an elder I felt that I could use my own discretion when I walked up on another elder in a convenience store thumbing through a titty book. I also decided not to mention to anyone that I came up on an MS stopped by a cop for dui. I actually talked the officer into letting him off.

But on the other hand I was frequently approached by do-gooder watch dog types who wanted to drop the dime on somebody. There were situations that I would have liked to just ignore, but the informer blabbed to other elders, plus general gossip. We then had to bring in the person and ask them about the accusation. Most times the accused, naturally, wanted to know who turned them in to the Gestapo, etc etc. It got pretty ugly at times.

A brother reported that he had seen another brother smoking a cig. as they passed in their cars. The accused wanted to know who told me. He said he may have had a white pen in his mouth. Before this had ran it's course there were at least 6 people involved and a lot of hard feelings.

    Yes I did.

When I was 19, I went to a JW party. I was asked to bring my share of the provisions, so I brought a six-pack of beer. The party was held at the son of an elder's apartment, and was vary wild by JW standards. I had recently moved to that congregation, so I wanted to fit in. There was drugs, alcohol, and a lot of serious make out sessions. Actually, I was pretty low key that night for me, and only sipped a few beers.

One of the people at the party had a grudge against me, and ratted me out to the elders. He had a crush on my girlfriend at the time, and wanted to cause trouble for me. He told them I supplied alcohol and got him drunk. He didn't even have any of the beer that I brought, instead he drank a bottle of cooking wine he found and got sick (what a moron).

Anyway, to keep anyone else from getting in trouble, I accepted all responsibility, and was reproved. I gained instant respect from my peers and moved on.

Karma happened later though, when I got the chance to beat the living s**t out of him.

    JK
