Why the fluoridation of public water supplies is illegal

(NaturalNews) "Municipalities all across America are currently dripping fluoride chemicals into their public water supply, dosing over a hundred million Americans with a chemical that they claim "prevents cavities."

What's interesting here is that this biological effect of "preventing cavities" is a medical claim, according to the FDA. And as such, making this claim instantly and automatically transforms fluoride into a "drug" under currently FDA regulations.

This means that cities and towns all across America are now practicing medicine without a license by dripping
liquid medication into the public water supply without the consent of those who are swallowing the medication.

If you or I did this, we would be arrested and tried as either terrorists (because contaminating the water supply is an act of terrorism) or felons practicing medicine without a license. So what allows cities and towns to get away with these very same crimes?............"

Hi, I haven't read the whole thread. I will, but in the meantime, wanted to write a bit about my experience.

I grew up in a little town in the north coast of Honduras, Central America, with about 10000 inhabitants at the time. There was a river coming down from the mountain and they had a little dam and from there the water was distributed to all the town. The water was not processed at all, but the river made honor to its name which was Cristales, which means crystals, so clean was it and its water.

I grew up drinking this water and all my friends did as well. None of us had any caries until we moved to a bigger city. There was such a lack of tooth decay in town that there was no dentist available in town. He wasn't needed, lol.

My first case of caries appeared when I was about 25 or so, after like 5 or 7 years in the big city after I moved. Of course, our diet was also purely natural, lots of fish, coconut oil, rice, green bananas, plantains, sweet potatoes and so forth. Lots of fruits like mangoes, grapefruit and "Byrsonima crassifolia" which we call Nances. We didn't have money for sweets which I think helped a lot. The ONLY people who had tooth decay were the ones who were sick as kids and were given lots of medicine, which for kids normally came in the form of some syrup.

Up to this day, I get all the time the: "Wow, you have perfect teeth" and so do my friends from back then. So I do believe that one can have good teeth in the absence of fluoride, provided the diet is adequate. I do believe that the absence of fluoride and the abundance of sweets that are readily available could be a bad combination for the teeth. But on the other hand, the absence of fluoride combined with a good diet and the absence of sweets works perfectly ok as well.

That's just my opinion based on my very limited empirical data. One town in the middle of nowhere in Honduras.

Thank you for that. People will believe what they want to - some people believe the BP oil disaster isn't all that bad and others believe it's a tragedy of mega proportions. Some people still think poor folk caused the economic and housing collapse but others are smart enough to understand how the biggest casino on earth operated. Some people still believe there's a war in Iraq because of a dictator while others understand (like Alan Greenspan) that lives have been lost for oil. So people are free to believe what they want.

The notion that you must ingest fluoride to have good teeth is nonsense. The idea that you must poison an entire water system to achieve some sort of dental perfection is ridiculous but hey, it's a good way to get rid of industrial garbage. Some people think pollution of the water isn't a big deal no matter how it happens. It has been reported that fluoride affects the nervous system in children which is why you don't give babies and children toothpaste or fluoride treatments. Now - that warning is clear, but we wash our kids in tap water, it gets in their eyes, you wash clothes in the stuff, they play in little swimming pools filled with the junk, juice is mixed with tap water, some parents give their babies tap water in kool aid or mix the baby cereal with it. We warn them against toothpaste - but not the water. It'd be funny if it weren't so pathetic. Some of the latest reports that came in from world studies point to a lower IQ from those children exposed to fluoride in substances....alzheimers, parkinsons and a whole host of other illnesses, most unheard of 50 years ago, are now commonplace...and some doctors believe the link is to fluoride in the water system. You can't avoid it.

But people will believe what they want to believe and that's their choice. sammieswife

It's comforting to see that wacko conspiracy nuts are still wacko cnspiracy nuts. It gives the world a sort of...constancy.

    FLUORIDE STUPIDITY & POPULATION CONTROL

"Controversial fluoride is one of the basic ingredients in both PROZAC (FLUoxetene Hydrochloride) and Sarin nerve gas (Isopropyl-Methyl-Phosphoryl FLUoride). Sodium fluoride, a hazardous-waste by-product from the manufacture of aluminum, is a common ingredient in rat and cockroach poisons, anesthetics, hypnotics, psychiatric drugs, and military nerve gas. It's historically been quite expensive to properly dispose of, until some aluminum industries with an overabundance of the stuff sold the public on the terrifically insane but highly profitable idea of buying it at a 20,000% markup, injecting it into our water supplies, and then DRINKING it.

Yes, a 20,000% markup: Fluoride-- intended only for human consumption by people under 14 years of age--is injected into our drinking water supply at approx. 1 part-per-million (ppm), but since we only drink 1/2 of one percent of the total water supply, the rest literally goes down the drain as a free hazardous-waste disposal for the chemical industry, where we PAY them so that we can flush their expensive hazardous waste down our toilets. How many salesmen dream of such a deal? (Follow the money.)

Independent scientific evidence repeatedly showing up over the past 50 years reveals that fluoride allegedly shortens our life span, promotes cancer and various mental disturbances, accelerates osteoporosis and broken hips in old folks, and makes us stupid, docile, and subservient, all in one package. There are reports of aluminum in the brain possibly being a causative factor in Alzheimer's Disease, and evidence points towards fluoride's strong affinity for aluminum and also its ability to "trick" the blood-brain barrier by looking like the hydrogen ion, and thus allowing chemical access to brain tissue.

Scientists who have attempted to blow the whistle on this mega-bucks PR ploy have consistently been given a very unscientific Black-PR treatment, and thus their valid points disputing the current vested interests never arrive in the press.

Follow the money to find the control..................."
