Nicotine is an extremely addictive substance. All governments collect a huge amount of money on cigarette taxes. Therefore, government makes money off of drug addicts.

In conclusion, cigarettes will never be banned, and people will keep dying, and government keeps making money as they wag their finger at you for smoking [bad addict].

Tobacco is not harmful when used with discretion; i.e. smoking one cigarette a week, without inhaling, outside so that's there no second-hand smoke.

I know some will agree but I don't believe you should blame those who provide the cigarettes for the addictions of people who are not responsible. Same goes with Las Vegas as all the gambling casinos. Lots of people get addicted to gambling and maybe lose their home and life savings, but many others go and have a grand old time. Some become rich if they hit a major million-dollar jackpot. Liquor is a problem too and some places you can't buy it and it's heavily regulated. Some people overeat. Do we blame pizza places for making such a high-calorie food?

CAUGHT BANK ROBBER TO THE JUDGE: Judge, I think I should be let go because if the Illuminati hadn't created all these banks with all this cash to temp me, I would never have thought about becoming a bankrobber. Therefore, you should put Bank of America corporate executives in jail and not me. In fact, I'm planning to sue them for causing my robber addiction!

    God, for making tobacco.

Right. Let's blame ultimately GOD for creating humans with the ability to smoke and tobacco for being so much fun to smoke!! God is EVIL. This is like Satan that claims that just because he made him beautiful he had no choice but to become the evil demon he did. Thus he has little responsibility here for the eventuality. Yet other beautiful people and angels manage to keep their egos intact? Most of the time, people who have addictions are weak. They have to take some resposibility. JC

Unless someone jambs a cigarette down your throat numerous times and forces you to smoke and become addicted to nicotine, I'd say that you are responsible for your own addictions.

No one with half a brain could possibly blame anyone for their own addiction to nicotine since the 1960's. That's when the gov. and anti- smoking groups began their long propaganda war against cigarettes and tobacco. Unless you are deaf, dumb and blind there is no way you could have missed any of the endless anti-smoking ads, campaigns, etc against cigarettes and tobacco.
