Journeyon: Are you sure that you should put that many periods? When I researched the matter, it is said 3 periods is the correct amount. Anymore than 3 is too much of an unnecessary statement.
Well this is turning out just fine!
journey on, Ms McDucket has put you straight on the British spelling we use in NZ. But MsMcd., New Zealand is no where near Europe! LOL
Hey! I thought they were full-stops? What the heck is a period?? ;)
And horrible life gets a gold star for spelling unnecessary correctly. And you can leave 10 minutes early.
Of course, you're absolutely correct. I forgot about the European difference in spelling certain words. And thank you for the information regarding the correct number of periods. Not to be nitpicking, but your use of the word "anymore" was incorrect. It should be "any more". Anymore means "at the present; from now on". When talking about amount, it's two words. (I hope you know I'm just continuing the scrutiny in good humor...that's "humour" in Europe.)
Ooo ooo me again. journey-on, it's peeve not 'pieve'!
Not to be nitpicking
I understand you, of course, are not nitpicking. If you had been nitpicking, you would have picked up on my not spelling your name correctly. Researching, is also for the birds. If I did happen to research, and googled periods, guess what would have popped up?.................................

I believe that is the North American and Microsoft difference (peculiarities?) in spelling certain words.
horrible life...probably something minstrel menstrual. (uh, oh, an incomplete sentence)
