Not a hip-hop fan or country, but would like something that will bring me up and something to wallow in also.

So I'd love to hear you suggestions of what I should download.

    Thanks

    The Pixies, for both.

If you're not a fan of that, when I'm feeling happy I'll download any sort of punk cover song of some 80's pop song. Me First and The Gimme Gimmes are best for this.

When I'm feeling really low I usually listen to "Winter" from the Garden State Soundtrack (artist name escaping me now)

Here's nice little pop-rock tune to cheer you up. The whole album is awesome and encourage everyone to purcahse a copy of the CD.

    Paolo Nutini - These Streets
'Jenny Don't Be Hasty' and 'New Shoes' are very upbeat and he has some incredibly touching sad songs such as 'Autumn Leaves' about his Grandfather, and some really great depressing love songs that just make me swoon...
    *sigh*

Paul McCartney and Wings: "Got to Get You Into My Life"

Ahem-Before there was a "Paul MacCartney and Wings", there was this little known group called "The Beatles". Perhaps that is who you meant to give credit for the song...
