Yah they changed it , not because they suddenly realized what the bible was saying but because they looked around and realized there is nobody alive from the generation in the org. they can promise eternal life to . The changing to an invisible generation isn't going to work either so they really haven't an answer .

Well the authors of most science text books that I 've read always have done a preliminary peer review. Even then the authors will still caution that there might be mistakes. Michael Faraday cautioned many times that he hoped he did not pervert science in some way.

The WTS has no system of peer review They do not caution the readers in any of their literature that it might contain false doctrine yet they publish these books as absolute truth.

Science is able to change previous light as long as the new light is a benefit to science and society. The WTS changes previous light to cover up false doctrine. AT times the WTS can not change previous light because some doctrines are too fully entrenched (ex. 1914,1919,1935). Science is not afraid to look bad at times because it has nothing to lose and everything to gain. Yet the WTS has everything to lose and nothing to gain.

The only kind of "discipline" the WTS uses with regard to its doctrines is to interpret an ancient document in whatever way will win them the most followers and the most income. The WTS changes its doctrines and predictions only when it's in their best financial interest to do so.

The problem is that you Bashers don't WANT to look at the fact that the only 'doctrines' that change are 1-Rules of our organization (legal, political law, choices of our meetings & preaching tatics, etc.), and 2- (Thank Heavens) Guesswork on the meaning of prophecy!

My faithful JW Mom died. Hemoglobin would have saved her, but, taking that blood fraction was against the WTB&TS's corporate bylaws at the time, so, she was expected to die. And she did not disappoint the corporation.

Later, the GB simply changed the corporate bylaws...and hemoglobin is 'OK' as a conscience matter. Of course, it just a little late for my mother.

Also, are you aware that being a Governing Body member means..."you never ever have to say your sorry?" They certainly never sent my family a "Sorry we fucked up..." letter nor even a "Thank You for another Faithful Death" congratulatory note.

Those are facts.

Yet another nice list( in addition to Bro A's and others). The sad part is that there's probably much more not found on your already long list. And some say nothing major has been changed? How about worshipping Jesus for the first fifty-or-so years of the WT?

They don't profess divine inspiration, in fact they directly state they do not have divine inspiration. They profess spirit-direction, or guidance of spirit, or spirit motivation. Which ... is ... divine inspiration

Actually if you look up the definitions of inspiration and directed, being directed would mean God would have greater control over matters!!
