    Good Morning All (Good Evening to Those on the Wrong Side of the World);

Could someone explain the new arrangement with the "anointed"? Is anyone other than the GB in this class anymore? Is there any feedback from those who consider themselves in this class? Is there a WT article explaining this arrangement & how they're feeding this crap to the rank & file?

The old 'slave class' were the 144 000, and that number still has to end up in heaven (according to the wt), so

while none of them before 1919 were  the F&D Slave, and

only the Governing body gets the reward when they are raptured before Armageddon, wt printed (thank you searcher)

That the GB will graciously share their glory with the rest of the 144 000 when that time comes.

Now, when you can prove that there was a talking snake, then that time will come.

There has been no change regarding the anointed but there is a new understanding of the Faithful and Discreet Slave. It did not exist in the 1st century. It has only been in existence since 1914 which means the slave has included Charles Taze Russell, Judge Rutherford, Nathan Knorr and the Governing Body members since its creation.

Yes, check out 15 July 2013 Watchtower.

Article titled 'Who Really Is the Faithful and Discreet Slave?'

"Who, then, is the faithful and discreet slave? In keeping with Jesus’ pattern of feeding many through the hands of a few, that slave is made up of a small group of anointed brothers who are directly involved in preparing and dispensing spiritual food during Christ’s presence. Throughout the last days, the anointed brothers who make up the faithful slave have served together at headquarters. In recent decades, that slave has been closely identified with the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses."

    that brings up the question:

was there never a slave class, because wt cancelled all pre-1919 aspirants? or

was all the 'class' idea wrong?

im in stitches prologos!   raptured? lol, [i want that article!]

see,  even we cant make sense out if it  to explain  that it makes no sense.

who still goes to meetings and listens to the comments, does anyone comment from their own logic or is it just rephrasing whats written in the paragraph, 4 times.

since OBVIOUSLY they cannot research it, find scriptures to support it, or, or has an opinion on it.

look at the expressions of peoples faces. whos asleep?

is there any conversation on how wonderful it is NOW that they FINALLY understand it all?

    lol.

sowhatnow, sorry, the illustrations do not carry "raptured" as a word caption,  but indicate they are at divine choosing lofted to their heavenly reward in timing with the looming battle.

I just wanted to highlight that while the 144 000 (except the Governing Body) are not the 'slave' anymore, or never were, all of them still get their reward (graciously shared).

not the snake of course, it lost it's legs and speech, after that faux pas.

My understanding (strictly from memory) is that the F&DS was not appointed until 1918 or 1919 (NOT 1914), thus Russell was never part of the "Slave", but rather the first members included Rutherford and his coneys. Thus Russell's pyramidology craziness was thrown under the bus with him.

DOC is correct, the FDS now appeared in 1919 after CT Russell had died.

The FDS is now the same as the GB, so only 8 FDS today, and the whole 'class' thing has been dropped - they are the FDS, and not the FDS Class.

Linked to this new teaching is the revised start and end dates for This Generation. Simply put, TG starts around the time of the American civil war (1860's) and stretches into our future.

This is exactly what Jesus meant when he said "This generation will by no means pass away". Well, until it's changed again of course.
