The GB own no part of the WTS. They used to serve as corporate officers on board of directors but since the WTS is a non-profit corporation, they had no shares, owned no part of it.
Whatever monies were given to Knorr over the years by individual JWs would have been his to do with as he saw fit, just like we have that control over our money. I suppose he could have willed that money to her. I met her a couple of times. Just as in the congregations, any status women have is through their husband. I had some remark to me that since she remarried and changed her name, that she did not seem to want to hang onto any cachet that the name "Knorr" might have brought her.
So I never noticed that she seemed to be possessed of a great deal of money.
