Just look at the sexual overtone of much of the jewish bible. circumcision, celebration of wives, sexual commentary about worship(think whoring babylon, whoring after other gods etc). this of course matches the simple fact that the jewish word for holy shares the ssame root for sex. The word testament comse from testicle. In the ancient world including the bible men took oaths by grabbing the others testicles. We have an account of this in Genesis where Abraham tells his servant to go a wife for isaac. Naturally women cant do this which might contribute to their lesser standing.
The large pillars outside the temple in Jerusalem, Boaz & joachim are of course phallic symbols just like all other obelisks.
Do the research you will find many more phallic symbols in the bible.
