    Deadly,

"I'm not sure what congregation you belonged to but I personally have never felt obligated to contribute any moneys to the hall"

I'm glad to hear that those continual articles about giving didn't sink in. And the numerous talks about supporting the donation arrangement fell on deaf ears. Good for you.

"Further more your comment about me claiming to be an expert on the subject is false so get some eyeglasses.I never claimed to be an expert on the religion.I only gave my honest opinion."

So why qualify your post here by stating how long you were (are) a JW? You stated how long you were a JW then proceeded to list your "facts". Why did you feel the "7 years" was necessary? So we would take you more seriously?

"As much as I do not agree with your statements "

Which statements do you disagree with?

"Individuals make mistakes in "every religious group"."

Finally something we agree on. But I have a problem with a group who in one breate tells you that what they tell you comes directly from God (yes, I was told this by a committee of Elders) but when their errors are exposed, now they're just imperfect men. This double standard sickens me.

"Try reading the actual bible and learn its principles on your own."

Done it a long time ago.

"Leave the witch trials to god"

    ...and the WT Society?

Due to the posts here I wonder: What happened to the Tower Tract Fund? Is it closed down or is it still a part of the WTBTS of NY/Pennsylvania?

Also in the book Why Not ‘Russellism’? by Frank Ballard he mention U.S. Investment Co., Ltd as an object for Russells investments in land, timber and houses. Any idea what happened to these investments?
