I am convinced that my dead mom contacted me in a dream. She came to tell me she was awaiting my father and that when he was ready, she would come back for him. At the time, we did not know he was ill. The dream was so real I told my hubby about it and I was very upset. A few days later my sister from NY called me and said dad had cancer and it was already stage 4. Mom died on June 4, 2001 and dad died EXACTLY one year to the day June 4, 2002.
A few weeks before he died, he told us he awoke one night to hear my mom calling to him.
Funny thing is My grandmother appeared to my mother in a dream when I was 11 to tell her that she had just died. And she had. My daughter seems to also have this intuition or whatever you call it. She swears my father appeared in her room one night and said hello to her. I have his ashes in an urn along with moms in my home.
