  I thought that when the time came I would be ready for it, but I was wrong, now I really don't know what I want to do

  I thought that too. When my parents (JW's) showed up at my favorite restaurant where I was to meet my Df'd friend, I hid and waited for them to leave. I was so ashamed with myself after that I became depressed/suicidal again for the first time in a while. I decided I couldn't let this happen anymore and a mere two weeks later I sat right beside my Df'd friend when my parents walked in. I felt so much better. I was finally ready after a mere two weeks. Sometimes it takes the straw that broke the camel's back to get you ready to leave. You will know when it is time. Until then we are all here for you.

  I know it gets tough when it comes down to them wanting to meet with you. It was hard for me. Especially when it was five years, and no word, and then out of the blue, they accidently knock at my door.
