I wish I could get my hands on a hard copy...do any of you former elders out there still have one? I am curious as to whether anyone could confirm that the online version is actually the real thing.

The going price for real copies is around $400 to $800 U.S. You can get photocopies from a few people who are willing to sell them, for a lot less. The online version is the real McCoy, except that it's missing the Index.

I was never an elder, but I have copy of the elder's manual. I obtained it from a brother who left Bethel and took 40 of them with him. He sold them at the BRCI convention in 1996. My copy has a coyright date of 1981. I would be willing to make copies and mail them to anyone who is interested. The cost for copies and mailing would be less than 10 dollars.
