Well! Harrumph!!! I was hoping he would have to do some (Federal) time in the PEN ... 'less a day' ... well, at least he will go away for a few months ... (1/3 time must be served, correct me if I'm wrong).
Vicky, we are all so proud of you for persevering in this fight. I'm glad he is going to do some time, though I wish it was hard time. Good for you, womyn!
Mouthy, Kwin got to meet you? That brat. Okay, now I'm jealous. (((hug, granny)))

Talespin.....Yes HE is a REAL cutie isnt he... ??? I am proud to be a granny to him
In the court there was only Palmer & his brother-for him
Me, Kwint- John & Barb ( a couple that help me with the support group ,& one other lady dont know who she was -but she sat on our side .... I smiled at the brother & he made a face at me. SO when we were leaving I went up to him & said" Why did you make that face at me?"He replied
"Oh did I ?-it is because I am under stress -Gower is my Brother. " I said are you a Jehovahs Witness"? He said" yes"& walked away.... Cant help feeling sorry for them...... all Victims of the WT....Gower has to have counselling- a DNA storage- & I think they said he would be on the sexual offenders list ( not sure on that)

Tal, yes, I got to meet Mouthy. What a sweet lady!
Sentence was 2 years, less a day to be served in the community (same as house arrest). As well as this, there is a weapons prohibition, must provide DNA sample, will be listed on the sex offender registry and must have 6 months of conselling.
The judge found that there was "exceptional circumstances" so he didn't have to serve the minimum sentance of 3 years in prison because he has already been through a civil trial, and has his reputation ruined in his community because of the publicity regarding the trial.

Good for Vicky!

Well at least he was found guilty of his crime. Vicky can have some sort of vindication in that. I wish he had to spend time in prison though too. So what if his reputation has been ruined in the community thats nothing compared to what poor Vicky went through.

Vindication for Vicki.....Thank goodness.Who gives a rat's a$$ about HIS reputation???? Community service.....well, I'm not so sure prison woulda done him any good, I know for a fact they keep sexual predators away from the general population in prison. They are in their own little protected area....it's almost like a "holiday".....puke, gag, ...then, they come out feeling that they've done their time, now we should just get over it!..... You were one helluva brave, courageous and strong woman, Vicki. My hat's off to you. Cheers.
