In case nobody else has heard it, the Swedish JW who was the "main personage" in the television program aired a month or so ago, was df'ed yesterday. The branch hung up upon him in the program and asked him to write a letter, giving his story how he had been abused etc. The branch overseer told the reporters how sorry he felt for him, and that he had been helped, and how they wanted to help him in the future, too. Then they df'ed him, and did so without any committee hearing - they suddenly showed up at his work and notified him he had been df'ed.

Once the WT Society and its representatives have no use for you, once you're used up, you'd better lay low or they're going to kick you to the curb.
The behavior of the Society in this instance, while unorthodox to say the least, shouldn't really shock any member of this board.
The message is clear. Don't you DARE portray us as anything less than a perfect society. Otherwise you're a complainer and you don't belong.

For any lurkers out there: If you are thinking about ever talking to anyone about your doubts, fears, past, present or future, and what you say doesn't 100% support the organization, you will sooner or later be kicked to the curb and be left alone, totally isolated from Jehovah's loving organization of brothers and sisters. Even if you were molested and abused, you'd better be very careful to talk about it because if word gets out and the organization is made to look bad, they will discard you like an old shoe. That is the reality.

Perhaps this lawsuit of mine will be of some good. The judge basically says she found them guilty of not following their "own policy". If the wt society has a policy in place to df someone, and doesn't follow it, which could therefore lead to neglegence. Just a thought. This is new law that will hopefully come through unless the wt appeals my case.
