I'm not sure if anyone has posted this, but one of the new releases from the ASSembly is called "WHAT DOES THE BIBLE Really Teach?
The Contents are too boring to completely reiterate, but here's a sample:

- Where Are the Dead?
- What Is God's Kingdom?
- Spirit Creatures--How They Affect Us
- Are We Living In The Last Days?
- How to Make Your Family Life Happy
- Worship That God Approves
Yada, yada, yada...............are you getting deja vu?? It's just the same shit they've been spewing out for decades with absolutely NOTHING different in it---it's just been yanked from various publications that they've had over the years.....thank God it was free---cause I wouldn't have paid one red cent for it.
The one chapter called Worship that the Governing Booby God Approves says "...those who practice the true religion would be recognized by their beliefs an their conduct. Although they are not perfect and they make mistakes (how convenient), true worshipers as a group seek to do Gods' will. Let us consider six features that identify those who practice true religion...
- God's servants base their teachings on the Bible (and all the other religions base their beliefs on what? The New York Post?)
- Those who practice the true religion worship only Jehovah and make his name known. (Who do they think the Jews worship?)
- God's people show genuine, unselfish love for one another. (ya, like when they order you to cut off all contact with your family because they question some of the doctrines of the religion? Gimme a frigging break)
- True Christians accept Jesus Christ as God's means of salvation. (riiiight....and other Christian religions don't?)
- True worshipers are no part of the world. (well, the Amish got one up on ya!)
Paragraph 14 says..."what religious group bases all its teachings on the Bible and makes kown Jehovah's name? What group practices godly love, exercises faith in Jesus, is no part of the world and proclaims that God's Kingdom is the only real hope for mankind?......The facts clearly show that it is Jehovah's Witnesses."
Are you asleep yet?? Christ almighty......is this the best they can come up with?? Even my father (a Dub) said "...there's nothing new in this, it's the same as the other publications.......I was sort of hoping for something new..."
So there you have it: we're a-livin' in de Last Days, don't take a blood transfusion, Babylon the Great is still a sleazy whore and Jerusalem was still destroyed in 607 BCE...........anyone else had the torture priviledge of reading this latest crap publication?
