    Chapter Twelve

    "KEEP IN EXPECTATION OF IT"

This chapter is vomit inducing - they basically tell us to be patient, and if we aren't patiently waiting for Jehovah's day, then it's our fault.

It is the Bothctower's fault for making false prophecies for over 125 years.

Read the crap in this chapter, and ask yourself - who really is to blame - myself who bought into the Society's predictions for Armaggedon, or the Society who lied to us about Armaggedon?

    Paragraph 1

HOW long have you been waiting for Jehovah's day to rid the earth of wickedness? How long are you willing to wait for it? Meanwhile, what attiude and resulting actions will mark your life?

Clearly, your answers will differ from those of churchgoers who are living just as they please, waiting to go to heaven.

Isn't that what the Governing Body members are doing at the financial expense of witnesses?

    Paragraph 5

You can be equally sure that "the day of Jehovah's anger" against the present system of things will come; it will be a fact, actual and trustworthy. Like Zephaniah and Habakkuk

, you do not know exactly when that day will come. Yet, come it will, and fulfillment of Bible prophecy in your time strongly indicates it will come soon. Thus, what Jehovah stressed to

those prophets applies to you - "Keep in expectation of it."

    Paragraph 6

You can show the proper attitude of expetcation demonstrating by what you do that you are confident that "the day of Jehovah's anger" will come exactly on time.

You're being convinced of that and matching your conviction with fitting actions are in harmony with something Jesus said. He urged the apostles and all anointed

Christians: "Ket your loins be girded and your lamps be burning, and oyu yourselves be like men waiting for their master...Happy are those slaves whom the master

on arriving finds watching! Truly I say to you, He will gird himself and make them recline at the table and will come alongside and minister to them." Yes, a proper

waiting attitude shows confidence that Jehovah's great day will come not a moment later than he has purposed.

This is exactly how cults work - they know they've failed the flock, now they're b;aming the rank and file for losing interest in their prophetic ramblings. This organization

    is a dangerous, deceptive cult.

As Jesus said, if anyone comes to you in my name saying "here is the Christ" DO NOT BELIEVE THEM.

    "IN EXPECTATION" AND "READY"

    Paragraph 7

God's modern day servants were in expectation before God's Kingdom was established in heaven in 1914 and have been since then. Their expectation has definitely not meant

idleness...Reflect on this though: If the great day of Jehovah had occured back in 1914, what would your situation have been then? Even if it had occured 40 years ago, were you

then a person "of holy acts of conduct and deeds of godly devotion"?

So, what did happen 40 years ago, in 1966? If you are a young person, "you will have to face the fact, you will never grow old in this system of things." (Awake 1969)

    paragraph 8

Whether we have been serving Jehovah for a few years or for many decades, are we "keeping on the lookout and showing the same waiting attitude?" (Romans 13:11)

Granted, as humans, we might long to know when the end will come and how much time remains until that event. Yet, we simply cannot know.

Think: 1914, 1925, 1975, 1995, this good news will be preached before the end of the 20th century.

Unlike any other Organization the Jehovah Witnesses say they alone represent God as his spokesman on earth. "The Watchtower is a magazine without equal on earth because God is the author."(W.T. April 15, 1943 pg.127)

"Franz testified in court on Oct.15 1931 that "Jehovah God" is the editor of the Watchtower

Recently In the Watchtower magazine it stated this "Jehovah God is the grand identifier of his true messengers. He identifies them by making the messages he delivers through them come true. Jehovah is also the great exposer of false messengers. How does he expose them? He frustrates their signs and predictions. In this way he shows that they are self appointed prognosticators, whose messages really spring from their own false reasoning-yes, their foolish, fleshly thinking!" (W.T. May 1,1997 pg.8)

"When persons are in great danger from a source that they do not suspect or are being misled by those they consider their friends, is it unkindness to warn them? They may prefer not to believe the warning they may even resent it. But does that free one from the moral responsibility to give that warning?" (W.T Jan.15, 1974 pg.35)

    Paragraph 15

We might gauge our sense of expectation in many ways, but why not use the very aspects found in Amos' description of the people of his day who "became satisfied"?

We can analyze whether we detect in ourselves any tendency toward "becoming satisfied." A christian who in years past reflected his sense of expectation in his

thinking and actins might begin to strive to have a more luxurious home or automobile, the very latest style of clothing, expensive cosmetics and jewelry, or choice in wine

and rich food...Are we "becoming satisified,' perhaps preoccupied with material things? Has our sense of expectation waned?

    C R U N C H T I ME - Why the Watchtower is worried

Ever wondered why a dub's expectation has waned? Could it be all the false prophecies prophesied in the name of Jehovah by the Cultower?

    paragraph 16

A dampening of our expectation of Jehovah's great day could reveal itself in the advice we give to our children or to others. A Christian could reason

within himself: 'I chose to forgo educational or career possibilities because I felt that the end was getting very close. Now I want to be sure that my

children are getting the training that will allow them to have a comfortable life."

Let's look at some of the Watchtower predictions of "the great day of Jehovah". and then see for yourself why witnesses are rejecting the cult...

*** Watchtower 1969 March 15 p.171 What Influences Decisions in Your Life? ***

12 The influence and spirit of this world is to get ahead, to make a name for oneself. Many schools now have student counselors who encourage one to pursue higher education after high school, to pursue a career with a future in this system of things. Do not be influenced by them. Do not let them "brainwash" you with the Devil's propaganda to get ahead, to make something of yourself in this world. This world has very little time left! Any "future" this world offers is no future! Wisely, then, let God's Word influence you in selecting a course that will result in your protection and blessing. Make pioneer service, the full-time ministry, with the possibility of Bethel or missionary service your goal. This is a life that offers an everlasting future!

    *** Awake! 1969 May 22 p.15 ***

If you are a young person, you also need to face the fact that you will never grow old in this present system of things. Why not? Because all the evidence in fulfillment of Bible prophecy indicates that this corrupt system is due to end in a few years. Of the generation that observed the beginning of the 'last days' in 1914, Jesus foretold: 'This generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur.' Therefore, as a young person, you will never fulfill any career that this system offers. If you are in high school and thinking about a college education, it means at least four, perhaps even six or eight more years to graduate into a specialized career. But where will this system of things be by that time? It will be well on the way towards its finish, if not actually gone! This is why parents who base their lives on God's prophetic Word find it much more practical to direct their young ones into trades that do not require such long periods of additional schooling… True, those who do not understand where we are in the stream of time from God's viewpoint will call this impractical. But which is really practical: preparing yourself for a position in this world that soon will pass away? or working toward surviving this system's end and enjoying eternal life in God's righteous new order?

I find the last sentence in the paragraph above to be highly offensive.

    Jeff,

This religion is sick - they acknowledge that people have forgone careers etc because Watchtower lied to them and said the end was near, now they expect you to indoctrinate your children with the end is near too.

How can anyone with a heart and a conscience write this stuff? It's so evil.

APPARENTLY the Revelation book will be studied again. We'll see, but this was confirmed by some "in the know".

If so I can't wait to hear the dubs either complain like crazy or be excited because it proves the end is near.
