The July 15th, 2014 issue of the Watchtower has the "Life Story" of GB member Gerrit Lösch on pages 17-22.
Think about it. This Lösch love-fest is 6 pages of the current WT!
That's nearly 20% of the ragazine.
Is this the beginning of a series of idolatrous articles indoctrinating JWs with GB worship? Or has that I already started and I missed it?

Interesting the level of education it takes to direct the world-wide work and later administer the Cosmos, not just the universe:
A cook, perhaps a server, a maitre d' ? not a window washer, but educated in the service industry. anybody willing to give a tip? monetary or free advice?

I was very shocked by that article. Typical example of GB worship. The worst thing is, sleeping JWs don't even notice that.
I interesting you call it a love fest because Jude 12 states:
These are rocks hidden below the water in your love feasts while they feast with you,
shepherds that feed themselves without fear........

In the past, there was never such a focus on the individual memebers of the GB... Only after the died there would be an article about them.

Let them continue their futile attempt. I know one serious JW who left the JW org discouraged. Her initial spark happened when she was reading the life-story of a GB member who remarried just one year after his wife's death.

It's actually brilliant. As I have explained on another thread, the " Wizard " behind the curtain is no longer viable. The GB's marketing gurus have wisely deduced that even the dumbest Eldub janitor ( no offense to the profession ) will eventually realize that the magic is gone. Time itself has exposed the scam of the WTBTS. It's only a matter of time before everyone figures it out. If this was not the case, why re-brand with JW.ORG?? Seriously, think this through.
Instead of clinging to impossible " All powerful Wizard" theory, the GB are allowing the stupified R&F into the Magic Kingdom. The GB are now sweet old men, given the Herculean task of running God's organization. What can these poor humble men do? There are so many damn levers and buttons behind the curtain, it's so confusing and they make mistakes from time to time. " We love you very much, and we are just trying to keep up with the chariot. Please help us discharge our god given assignments. We are just imperfect, uninspired, spirit- directed, fallible, non-prophet spokesmen for Jehovah. Can't you just help us to take the lead by being in subjection? You do not want to damage yourself by being disobedient, do you?!"
The GB are reinventing their image along with JW.ORG! They are purposely putting themselves in the spotlight to "humanize" and de-mystify themselves. To what end you may ask?? To endear themselves to their masses of followers of course!
The more they are worshipped for their human qualities like goofy jokes, dancing on YouTube, and kids cartoons, the less likely JWs will believe the "Satanic" media when it exposes the WTBTS's pedophile cover-ups and tax dodging, and Real Estate scams. Who could suspect some old Grandpas of evil deeds?? Surely it must be Satan attacking the one true religion!!

He gave a free advertisement to baden-Powell as the founder of the Boy scouts, and the Queen of England for gracing the event he attended in the UK as a Boy Scout himself, he also names 11 people personally that were involved in his ascent . A worthy in good company.
