by the way, perhaps we should introduce a measure of a threads popularity, the milli-johnny? i believe this is barely pushing 10MJ's :-).

Good video. As thought-provoking as PZ Myers' recent comments are to me personally, this video gets at the matter of definitions with much more clarity.
I also like how the definition of agosticism is addressed - that it deals with knowledge of god (and god's existence), and is not some noncommittal middle ground.

Couldn't agree more. As far as the existence of god/s are concerned there is no such thing as agnosticism, it's not a middle ground because there is no middle ground to occupy.
There is no such thing as Agnosticism. Agnostics do not exist!

nick: heard! its so amazingly frustrating to hear over and over again that if your not 100% certain your agnostic. and no matter how many times its pointed out in painstaking details even the less sofisticated farm-animals would find tedious, its like 20 minutes pass and you get to here it once again:
"atheism is a belief. agnosticism i can kind of understand, because they admit they cant know everything for sure"
ARGGHHH!!! its damn hard to take people serious who believe in talking animals, but i try. but for the love of jesus and recognition of the effort, at least reason like a grown-up!.
