We received news that in the far away land of China at least a million people died in a horrible earthquake, bigger than you can imagine. Europe is just starting to recover from the 6th outbreak of the Black Death plague that killed countless persons. In the past century year after year we see civil wars like the War of the Roses, or wars between nations like the Thirteen Years' War that erased Prussia from the maps. All of these being together and alarmingly so is for sure the sign Jesus left for the end days.

Yep, it's been doing the rounds.
The final CO talk to the congo was based on WT 2008, 10/1 and the list of 'proofs' that the end is nigh ("on the horizon," he said). Lots of fear-mongering statistics were used - especially about the increase in recent earthquake activity. It's funny, he (no doubt using the refs. on the WTS' outline) drew on the official government or geological survey websites for statistics to provide evidence about earthquake increases but ignored the sites' articles that say earthquake activity has remained pretty constant (see this link too).
If the CO mentioned 'the end is so close' once during his visit, he must have mentioned it 2 dozen times - the highest concentration of instances during this final talk, and emphasizing that it's the GB who feel that this is really it! This isn't the normal 'the end's soon' stuff we all expect - this is a purposeful campaign to get everyone whipped up again - IMO to get people busy and thinking positively about the centenary of the 'kingdom's birth' rather than wondering about 'why so long and will it ever?'!
Hah! The CO had proof huh? He makes a pretty weak argument. I mean, there have always been earthquakes, pestilence, wars, etc... all at the same time. Guess he should've gone to college, get that higher education, learn about world history, maybe study some geography and geology and anthropology, hell, almost everything you learn in college would've helped his thinking.

How does the WTS. marketing executives ( CO, DO ) stir up the preaching work ? they cultivates lies and misinformation of facts.
The signs of the end has been commercially manipulated by the WTS for decades.
The real fact of the matter is all of those supposed signs were apparent in biblical times ( earthquakes were perceived to be god's anger ),
today we know differently now. If one reflects onto the middle ages of past you could very well say those were the end times for
those sighs were intensified during that era. As for earthquakes they have have been occurring for millions of years they have created
the great mountain ranges that we have on earth today. And no there hasn't been an increase in the last century, any reconsigned
university of geography will tell the truth about that professed assumption.
WTS markets and exploits fear well on so many levels ( Demons, wicked evil spirits, the end time prophecies )
the list goes on and on, its the real binding catalyst that keeps their membership intact and working for them.
Fear mongering ignorance has great value to the WTS. and they know that very well.
