Sorry, I forget were all not keeping up with the cart : )
The first KH building program was called "Quick Build" and got started in the late 70's early 80's. It took some time to soak in that building a KH in 3 days did not make a very good building, and most of them started having problems quickly! That was replaced by the RBC, Regional Building, in this system, states were cut up into areas, and the projects expanded to 2, 3 day weekends. And much tighter control on the workers, with everyone having to apply, and be approved by the elders, and the RBC. Now enter the LDC, Local Design, it breaks the country into 11? LDC areas, the power is totally removed from local elders over anything but truly minor repair work on there KH. The 11? LDC's decide everything 100%. KH's will be inspected on a regular basis, by an inspection team, that report to the RDC. There are also teams that will go out and teach local cong, the proper up keep, and cleaning process, and products. One floor plan, adjustable in size. NO local choice in anything!

The New LDC / RBC. Requirements
There are many requirements, but when you get to the end of the form. Here it explains, that if you sign and send in the form, your agreeing, that the LDC must come first. If they call today with an assignment, you must be ready to drop everything, and go to that assignment, maybe in a few days, and be ready to stay up to 6 months maybe longer!
My B I L, was an RBC paint crew captain, he was so excited about this new program, and getting "USED" in a larger area, and getting to hob nob, with even higher up big shots than ever before. That's all I have hears about, until this morning. He came to my shop looking pretty upset. He told me about that requirement, and that there was just no way, he could agree to it! Being a small big shout in the RBC, with Hope's of moving up the food chain, being smashed, in a matter of seconds!
I had a hard time feeling sorry for him!
This is going to blow a lot of peoples, Wet dreams!

Elders' Authority - Flock Book
by berrygerry inthe biggest surprise in the flock book was the hiding-for 3-years serious sin absolution provision for elders (if with "jehovah's evident blessing").. the second is the remark regarding an inactive person, and the situation:.
"is the person willing to meet with a committee, thus admitting accountability to the christian congregation?".
now, the bible says: i want you to know that the head of every man is the christ; in turn the head of a woman is the man; in turn the head of the christ is god.

How many is a few. I always heard it defined as between 3 to 7. The Dictionary's vary, More than 1 and less than a dozen!
And when it comes to elders, you never know how they would determine it to be. Plus you have to factor in, if the elder in question, is really liked by all the others, if not, his goose would be cooked!!!
I believe most bodies of elders would can, child molesters!

I love this one! How many times over the years have I heard, that if one has commited sin's, they HAD to be reported, and handled. Then they pointed out that there's no was to make up for, or pay for these sin's, without elder involvement. Pioneering, going out in fs for long hours, doing everything for the org one can do, won't restore God's favor! Unless your an elder or above, then you can work off the sin.
I once knew a sister that had pioneered for 20+ years, and after one of these talks, she went andconfessed. It had been years since she had messed up, and it only happens once. In the mean time, she had a number of studies progress to baptism, and always had many studies. She was dfed for two years. They told her, because she was a pioneer, and hiud the sin for so long, her punishment, had to be heavy, to be a warning to others! She was reinstated, but never recovered!

How to Choose a Wife!
by snugglebunny inback in the day, when my family moved to a new congregation, i fell head over heels with a young sister who was an elder's daughter.
it wasn't long before we were talking about marriage and i was contemplating buying her an engagement ring.
my parents were not happy at all.

My X came with the glowing approval of the elders and the co. Her family were held out as the most exemplary in the circuit!
What a Load of Crap that was! I knew before the first night was over, I had been pushed into a Hugh pile! Her parents HATED each other! They stayed together for the "truth"! He was a long time elder, she was a 25+ yeasr pioneer. At home they had separate bedrooms and baths, with almost no interaction at all! When it was time for meetings, they road together, walked into the hall, all smiles, holding hands durning the song and prayers, the picture of a real spritural family.
Visiting them was a nightmare. And my so called wife, was a real work of art!
Elder approval is not worth the paper they wipe their Butt's with! Moist if them have really crappy married lives. I have been good enough friends to hear their stories! And seen the looks of sadness on the faces of the wife's! Been told be many, they were holding on for the new world!

February 15, 2015 Watchtower Tells Lies About Bible Jesus!

"he never called undue attention to himself.
instead, he directed all glory to his father.".

Don't you just love the parts dealing with the lost sheep, how plainly it shows how the lost ones were to be treated. Yet insted of really helping the sickly and injured sheep, instead they kick them, and beat on them, then toss, the woonded weak sheep, out into the cold dark night, scared and alone!
Then the lost son, who had gone off and led a very BSD late, and when he came to see how, his dads slaves had it better than he. So he goes home , and as his dad caught site of him, ran to him, grabbed and hugged him, and started ordering his servents to make a feast for him. All without holding a kangaroo court, to humiliate, and beat him even more.
Both the dad, and Sheppard, pictured Jesus and his Dad, and how they expected sick and injured followers to be treated, and cared for!

My dad spent most of WWII hiden in the jungles of the Philpines. Three times he was caught, the first time was by two men scout teams, the third time by a small company of groups. After he died, his sister told me of his experience in WWII. Some how he killed the first two groups that caught him, and escaped from the larger one. He was near death as the US army retook the Island's. He spents months in the hospital before being shipped back to the states. My mom met him at the train station. (Until the army found him, he was listed as MIA, likely dead) When he was last home he was 6' 175 pounds, full head of hair. When the army found him, he weight 75 pounds. When he got off the train, he was 95 pounds, bald, and toothless. My mom was looking for the man that had left. He walked up to her, and said, You don't know me, do you! !

Why only 7 or 8 members on the Governing Body?
by Gilgamesh innow and then someone hears a rumor that the gb might go with 12 members instead of the 8 (or now 7) they currently have.
the value of 12 is understandable, which might even drive the rumors every time they plan to add another 4 or 5 new persons to the gb helpers list.
of course, a rumor that steals their thunder may also promote a delay, even if true.. i'm sure this quote from the watchtower was previously commented upon as a good explanation for the watch tower's best reason to leave the number at 7 or 8:.

It just like a JC vote, if it 2 to 1, and they can't get past it, they do what ever had the winning vote, and claim they were in total agreement!
The GBodies would never get anything done if it had to always be 200%!
