got this very interesting email last night and i thought i'd share it.. this is from the local rbc.. "in harmony with our new ldc form we have been asked by the branch to liquidate all current assets of used tools and materials once owned by the rbc.
you are invited to visit the equipment trailers to acquire items being liquidated by the rbc asset team, these items will be offered on a first come bases with voluntary donation.
if you see any item you like please be in position to take it with you at that time, after you return to your congregation then you will make a donation of cash or check in the congregation contribution box designated for the support of the worldwide work.
The entire RBC is being disbanded as of January! My eldub brother in law, is going to the last RBC meeting and closing up shop after party for our area, sometime in mid January. He thinks they will learn more about the new arrangements under the LDC!

Part of it must be the need to get all the money from the sale of the building's they have sold, but not yet closed, until they are ready to turn over the keys, to the buyer's! So the sooner they get out, the sooner they get the money!

I was an ms for 25 years, turned down the elder appointment twice. I told them I just wasn't ready. But the truth is, I had already tired of the endless political crap. Over the years I became close friends with many powerful elders. The conversation, I was in on always shocked me, because of all the power plays, back stabing, covering up stuff for well liked or powerful ones, throwing, others under the bus for petty things!
Why oh Why, did I not see though the bull sh--t a long time ago!

Looking back on life as a jw, when you heard about stuff like this, for the most part we always acted like we either knew nothing about it, or told people that the person involved had not been a jw in years.

My brother in law,, is a blind full in elder. His take on all the safety stuff is that the Borg cares so deeply for everyone! But I have known for years that it's all about money! You can find videos from jw building projects all ôver the world, where safety dose not appear to be of concern at all. Little kids walking up planks with bricks stacked on their heads, or carrying pails of concrete, across planks crossing between buildings.
It's scary watching the dangerous stuff, women and very young children are ask to do, with no safety gear of any kind!
It just shows how full of crap the Borg, really is!

Milk before Meat. I remember a family that had studied for 7 months. I think there were 7 in the family, 6 were getting ready to be baptized. The week befor the CA they were to be baptized at, it was announced that Wendy was dfed. Well this family had become friends with Wendy and her parents. Wendy (poor kid 17) starts sobbing uncontrollably, but her dad made her set there though the humiliation, crying until the meeting was over, then sent here to the car! Inhushed tones, people were stopping expression their sadness, to the family, just like Wendy had died! All along mom and dad new family, were listening, and started asking questions! An hour later, new family walked out, never to return. Wendy, poor girl was put out of the house two days later, and she was 3 months pregnant. No job, no friends : ( nowhere to go. The by now x-new family, saw Wendy setting at a bus stop, with a suitcase and a few stuffed animals, crying! X-new family stopped and picked her up, and took her to live with them.
Last time I heard, the family treated Wendy like family, her baby like their granddaughter. They paied Wendys way to Georgia State Tech, in Atlanta. She married the x-new families oldest son, the one that never even started to study.
It been 16 years since I last heard anything. But its good to know one good ending!
