i have been back to meetings for a month now.

prepared for them all except for when i went on holiday.. todays wt is about jehovah's organisation, it's clear loaded language and manipulation through fear.

i am not perturbed by it in the least.

Welcome purrpurr, get in touch with all your peers that have left. Track them down they can really support you. Next, read as much as you can from former members, I recomend jwsurvey, jwfacts and CoC. They were my main three resources to help me learn the truth about "the truth" (TTATT)

It was EU's insistence that led Canada then the US to legislate privacy.-jgnat

It's appaulling if confidentiality is broken, but how can I prove it, plus there is spousal privilege. I know Sis IamSoFullOfMyself has told her hubby COBE, that I was there. There is no way she would pass it up, but how can I prove it.

jgnat, it's sweet that your glad I am not going to meetings, just a silly phase to win my loved ones over. I can do more good now that I am away from the KH.

Playing the dating Game..............how do you play?

everyone knows i have been playing this dating game, and what a fun game it has been.

i have met a few nice guys but remained strictly platonic, and also met some really pushy guys too that just wanted sex.. i have not met mr right yet, but who knows what the platonic guys could evolve into.. it's all a game and anyone who says they don't play games when dating is lying.

does a man always have to make the first move?.

It's all a game and anyone who says they don't play games when dating is lying. Does a man always have to make the first move?

Well I like this part of the game, if he want's to meet me he needs to ask first, but then I sometimes make the first move taking it to a proper phone conversation before we meet. I will give him time and see if he suggests it. I like a confident methodical man.

I have had a few coffee dates, plenty of messages, and phone conversations. It's fun, I have even met up with a couple of guys more than once but things didn't work out. No one has got as far as taking me out for a meal yet, do guys even do that anymore?

If you're a guy or a girl, what do you think?????????

Let's face it, it wasn't going to be long before I was going to get shunned in manner that was unacceptable to me. Of course I have to be vocal about it. Well there you have it, I am back in the land of the living, although I never really left did I?

So, they all get more excited to advertise JW.org than they get excited to tell folks the "good news" about Jesus or kingdom or anything. So perverse.-JWDaughter

Perfect Relationship, He Still Broke Up With Me

last month, my best friend of four years and boyfriend of six months came home from a jehovah's witness convention.

he'd been acting strangely the entire weekend and i knew something was wrong.

i initiated a discussion and he said, "essentially our relationship is wrong and i'm not supposed to be with you.

I am sorry to hear what this JW did to you over years and years. He lied to you and gained your trust, but he was never going to commit to you. I am so sorry you have been hurt and used by this monster who lied to you about who he was. He will be isolated and lonely as he is a hypocrite. But you have us.

i thought it was high time to introduce myself (without my name of course).

as my name would suggest i have been reading your intriguing post, thoughts and discussions for some time now.

around 3/4 months to be exact.. i guess to start with it would seem fitting to give a little background on my current situation.. i'm a born-in, but have over the last few years found that through a number of varying occurences, (some of which i may discuss in future posts) that my 'zeal' has gone from regular field service and meetings to no service in over a year and very sporadic meeting attendance.

Having read the forums on JW.net and other sites like JWFacts aswell as other sources of information I see the future as more exciting rather than daunting. Only time will tell I guess.-LNM
