  any JW construction going on other than Warwick?

  is anybody aware of any kingdom hall builds going on or any kind of ldc activity?

  i've been wanting to ask this, and committeechairman's question at the end of this thread, http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/topic/289353/ldc-semininar?page=4&size=20, moved me to go ahead and ask.. i've kind of wondered whether the org leaders got rid of rbcs and instituted the ldc arrangement because they wanted to be able to stop or slow down construction without it being obvious.

  if the rbcs were still in existence, it would be obvious that there's nothing (or almost nothing) going on (if that really is the way it is) because rbc personnel would be idle when they were used to being busy.

  Another clarification. Today in many parts of the world volunteers are not used for construction, but only partially. There are new regulations from governments and municipalities that require qualified interventions and specialized companies in the sector. In Europe, a specialized external company is used to build the new Italian branch. See the European website polonannicosta.it

  There are many incomes, bequests, kingdom hall and branch sales, regular contributions coming in.

  Then there are the expenses: in Europe a branch has calculated that each Bethelite requires around 2 thousand euros/dollars every month to provide food, accommodation and all the necessary services including expense reimbursements and monthly donations.

  Then they have to support all the missionaries, special pioneers, circuit overseers around the world, some traveling by plane, others in cars purchased from the branches. They still have to print many Bibles and even some publications such as magazines, books and tracts and maintain printing presses. In the end what matters is the balance between income and expenditure which none of us really knows, but I know for a fact that at world headquarters they are alarmed by the chronic lack of funds.

  I forgot among the many expenses there are trials, lawyers, television crews sent around the world, agreements for confidential CSAs and I'm sure I'm forgetting something, perhaps losses in bad financial investments

  Even in southern Europe the renovation work on some kingdom halls has been postponed. I don't know the real reason. If it happens in other countries then it could be a directive from Warwick. Know that right now they have made a very large settlement in Montana and this opens the door to other payments to close the cases.

  This is proof that the Lord blessed the Municipality of Bologna instead of the Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses ....:-)))

  Jehovah's Witnesses will carry out, as part of this agreement, 3.1 million euros in public works which they will give to the Municipality of Bologna! The cleanup of the old property will be the responsibility of the JWs

  The Municipality of Bologna got rid of 1 disused building and a former elevator factory that had been closed for many years. Did Jehovah bless them instead of Italian JWs?

  Many years have passed and this story of the new Italian Bethel continues......... God blesses the Municipality of Bologna which managed to get rid of two problem areas by selling to the JWs.

  They were also completing other similar buildings. It is said that the apartments were greater than the number of Italian Bethelites which are around 300. In 2020 the site stated that thanks to Divine blessing the new Bethel would be ready in 2023.

  In another video, Brother Andreotti of the Italian Branch Committee says that thanks to Divine blessing the new Bethel would be completed in 2024 and sooner than they expected!
  

  We are more than halfway through 2024, construction sites seem to be at a standstill in Bologna. The buildings disappeared from the radar. What are they telling us? Have they sold the buildings? Did they rent the apartments?
  

  P.s. In Bologna, mini apartments are selling like hot cakes. Many university students are looking for and want this type of accommodation!

  In the book by former GB member Franz, there are details about why his uncle F.W. Franz stopped the printing of the book. He did not agree with the explanation of James 5 which states that when a sick brother was urged to call the elders Ed Dunlap applied it to the literal illness, but his uncle did not agree (but the book had already been approved by the GB , a sign that they do not always read the material they approve) and not to a hypothetical spiritual illness.   Let me clarify:

  1- the 3 paragraphs were not written by me.

  2- A former jw Reddit user posted them on Reddit

  3- A user copied and translated them into a European language and now they are on a non-English European blog

  4- I copied from this blog and translated with Google Translator, but it was already a translation from English

  5- The user on Reddit deleted the message so there is no way to compare if it is translated correctly

  6- We shouldn't trust everything that appears on the internet, but it was right to publish it for information.

  The August Study Watchtower: what is the big deal?

  i have been following a number of posts discussing the august watchtower study magazine.

  i really don't believe this common idea being passed around that it's being timed for the annual meeting.

  here's why.. the august watchtower will be available on servers not long before its public release.

  I can imagine that these 3 paragraphs have created a lot of discussion within the Governing Body, some may not agree with this for fear that many PIMOs may leave without the consequences of ostracism, while others more liberal may be very supportive.
